Chapter 1 Crop Production and Management

This chapter covers students to understand how to produce food through practices practiced in agriculture. Apart from all this, this chapter states that crops are mainly divided into two types based on the seasons in India, namely, Rabi and Kharif. The basic practices of crop production include the following points which are described in detail in this chapter. Apart from all these traditionals and modern methods of irrigation have been described. Finally, a brief description of animal husbandry is given

Chapter 2: Microorganisms – Friend and Foe

Science NCERT Class 8 Chapter 2 is started with the definition of microorganism and then the concepts are explained with the help of 2 activities. Then, it is reported that the microorganism plays an important role in our lives through different examples.

It has also been tried to explain why microorganism is harmful and causes various diseases to humans, animals and plants. These dangerous microorganisms cause food poisoning. In this chapter, then, different methods of food preservation are explained. The chapter culminates with the nitrogen fixation and nitrogen cycle that is explained by a diagram.

Chapter 3 Synthetic Fibers and Plastics

This chapter describes how artificial textures and plastics are managed which is intended for classification. As with synthetic fibers, synthetic fibers, plastics, choice and characteristics of plastics as a material and environment are part of the major principles of this chapter. Chapter 5 Coal and Petroleum

It then describes how coal, coal tar and coal gas are made from coal. It also mentions petroleum refining. Then the concept of natural gas is stated. Chapter 6 Combustion and Flame

In this chapter, students will study about combustion and its different types. It has been told very thoughtfully with the help of different activities. Measures and precautions to overcome the fire are mentioned. Then, the structure of the flame is explained. This chapter concludes with the topic of fuel, fuel efficiency and the harmful effects of burning fuel.

Chapter 7 Conservation of Plants and Animals

This chapter emphasizes deforestation and its deleterious consequences as deforestation, conservation of forests and wildlife. Then, biosphere reserves, flora and fauna, endemic species, wildlife sanctuaries, national gardens, red data books, migration , Paper recycling and end redistribution is explained

Chapter 8 Cell Structure and Function

It gives important inside and outside information about the major unit of life-head. Gives students detailed knowledge about cell discovery, its properties and structure.  In ncert Chapter 8 Science Class 8, students are first told that the cell is the smallest living part of an organism. They will know that cells are of many types and many cells differ from organism to organism. The structure and function of the cell is beautifully explained. Chapter 12 Friction

This chapter tries to explain the factors affecting friction and force of friction, friction, how friction increases and decreases. And finally, the subject of fluid friction is described in detail.

Chapter 13 Sound

Sound helps us to communicate with each other and the medium is needed to move the sound. It cannot run in vacuum. It plays an important role in human life. Here, students will get all the detailed answers related to sound such as how it produces the sound, how it moves, how we hear the sound, why some sounds are loud and what are the side effects of loud sounds.

Chapter 14 Chemical Effects of Electric Current

This chapter tries to tell the students that some special liquids are good conductors of electricity and some other materials are also good conductors of electricity. In addition to this, it also has the ability to elaborate on the "chemical effects of electric current" and the topic of electricity.

Chapter 15 Some Natural Occurrence

This chapter discusses various destructive natural phenomena occurring in the universe i.e. light and earthquake. Chapter 16: Light

This world is full of colors and many beautiful things. But to see them we need light and this chapter will tell us that through light we see things around us well. The chapter describes reflection, regular and diffuse reflection, the law and law of multiple reflections. You will be surprised to know that sunlight is in the form of white light and it has all 7 colors. These colors form the dispersion of light splitting. The human eye is explained through a diagram. And our eye is told that our eye works like a lens ie camera. Also at the end of the chapter, the chapter explains how to take care of the eyes and how blind people can read and write with Braille script.

Chapter 17 Stars and Solar System

In this chapter, we will study in detail about celestial objects, moons, stars and constellations. In addition, the solar system is described with the characteristics, size, their rotation speed, the order of the sun and their satellites of each planet in the solar system. And then some other member of the solar system is also described, which plays an important role while in the solar system which has asteroids, comets, meteors and meteorites, artificial satellites.


Chapter 18 Pollution of Air and Water

This chapter introduces us to the major types of pollution and pollution i.e. air and water pollution and harmful changes happening around us due to its effect on human life. At the beginning of this chapter, air pollution is elaborated and how is air polluted? . Then it describes the effect of air pollution on the Taj Mahal. In addition, the concept of greenhouse effect and methods to reduce air pollution are explained. Subsequently, the chapter discusses water pollution and how water is polluted.
