Chapter 1 Crop Production and Management
This chapter covers students to understand how to produce food through practices practiced in agriculture. Apart from all this, this chapter states that crops are mainly divided into two types based on the seasons in India, namely, Rabi and Kharif. The basic practices of crop production include the following points which are described in detail in this chapter. Apart from all these traditionals and modern methods of irrigation have been described. Finally, a brief description of animal husbandry is given
Chapter 2: Microorganisms – Friend and Foe
Science NCERT Class 8 Chapter 2 is started with the definition of microorganism and then the concepts are explained with the help of 2 activities. Then, it is reported that the microorganism plays an important role in our lives through different examples.
